Black Series size range: 84 to 130 inches
At the time of our September 2026 research, the NothingProjector Black Series product page listed 84, 92, 100, 110, 120 and 130-inch sizes. That is a useful spread, but the visible diagonal is only part of the fit.
Approximate 16:9 image dimensions
| Diagonal | Approx. visible width | Approx. visible height | Typical fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| 84″ | 73.2″ / 186 cm | 41.2″ / 105 cm | Compact rooms, closer seating |
| 92″ | 80.2″ / 204 cm | 45.1″ / 115 cm | Smaller living rooms |
| 100″ | 87.2″ / 221 cm | 49.0″ / 125 cm | Balanced mainstream choice |
| 110″ | 95.9″ / 244 cm | 53.9″ / 137 cm | Large living rooms |
| 120″ | 104.6″ / 266 cm | 58.8″ / 149 cm | Immersive living-room cinema |
| 130″ | 113.3″ / 288 cm | 63.7″ / 162 cm | Very large rooms / long walls |
Visible dimensions are geometric approximations for a 16:9 image and do not include borders or the larger motorized case.
100 vs 120 inches: the decision most buyers actually face
A 120-inch 16:9 image is roughly 20% wider and 20% taller than a 100-inch image, but its area is about 44% larger. That means the same projector light is spread over much more surface. If brightness is already marginal, a jump to 120 can make the image look dimmer.
On the other hand, 120 inches creates a much stronger cinema effect at typical living-room distances. If the room width, projector brightness and seating position support it, this is often the size where projection starts to feel dramatically different from a television.
Three constraints people forget
1. The case is wider than the screen
The motorized chassis extends beyond the visible image. Measure the actual product case, not just the 16:9 width above.
2. UST projector distance changes with image size
Larger images generally require the UST projector to sit farther from the wall and/or at a different vertical position. Use your projector manufacturer’s placement chart.
3. Delivery can be harder than installation
A 120–130 inch floor-rising screen arrives as a very long package. Check doors, lifts, stairs and corner turns before ordering.
Our practical sizing rule
Choose the largest size that your room and projector can support comfortably without forcing digital keystone correction, compromising brightness, blocking speakers, or creating delivery problems.
